With reference to War Office letter 10/1972 (F.1)

dated 25th June, 1914, regarding the assessment of the

military contribution on the revenue derived from Opium in

Hong Kong, and to the copy of a letter to the Treasury

dated 8th instant, forwarded therewith, I am commanded by
